If you ever bought anything on internet here in Sweden you know you almost never get free shipping (strange enough, it's kinda usual in Brazil).

Well, I just found out a website selling hair products, those you only find in hairdresser saloons and as they claim it is always "fraktfritt". They even ship to Danmark, Finland, Norway and the rest of EU, but unfortunately, shipment is paid.

Se você já comprou alguma coisa pela internet aqui na Suécia, você deve saber que o frete quase nunca é grátis (o que,por incrível que pareça, é bem comum no Brasil).

Eu acabei de encontrar um site que vende produtos de cabelo, desses que só se encontram no salão, e como eles mesmos dizem, o frete é sempre grátis. Eles também enviam para Dinamarca, Finlândia, Noruega e países da UE, mas daí o frete é pago.

När vi träffas kommer vi att fråga vad ni har
arbetat med i ert hemland. Om det är ett industriarbete
eller hantverksarbete kommer vi att
försöka ordna en arbetsplats där du kan visa att
du kan ditt arbete.

Större chans att få arbete!

Du får kanske inte arbete på den arbetsplatsen
där du gjort din yrkesbedömning, men du kan
få ett intyg på att du kan ditt arbete. Du har
då större chanser att få arbete hos någon annan
arbetsgivare när du har ett intyg över dina
yrkeskunskaper.
Arbetsförmedlingen har startat verksamheten
tillsammans med kommunerna och Länsstyrelsen
i Västmanland.

Skånetrafiken has a summer campaign in which if you buy a "rabattkort" for 450 SEK you get 50 trips.  During the period between 15th Juni and 15th August you anywhere for 9 SEK/trip.

Summer

Summer is finally here and it is time for us to be as much time outside as possible. If in Brazil we didn't have to worry so much about weather, here we should enjoy as much as we can to be outside when it is nice and sunny, because after the sun and the heat are gone (around October) it will take approx. 8 months until it is summer again (and we never know if it will be warm and nice or rainy).

I would advice all of you to go out and take long walks, go to the beach, to lakes, bike to the closest village or city (Sweden has very good bike tracks).  Here in Skåne there are some nice spots:  Västra Hamnen in Malmö; Dalby Stenbrot in Dalby; Ystad and Falsterbo and a island called Ven wich is outside Landskrona.  All lovely places. 

And for those who like, camping is a very good thing to do in Sweden, as they have this "Allemansrätt" i.e. right of common access.

Another thing the summer brings to Europe are the great rock festivals.  Roskilde (DK), Way Out West (SE), Popaganda (SE) and Optimus ALIVE! (PT) and this are only the ones I've heard of. I can say there is one more missing in the list wich I can't remember the name.  But anyway, this is subject for a whole new post.

Finalmente chegou o verão e com ele a época em que devemos aproveitar para estar o máximo que pudermos fora de casa.  Se no Brasil não nos preocupávamos tanto com o tempo (se chover essa semana faz sol semana que vem) aqui devemos aproveitar cada momentinho de tempo bom que fizer, porque depois que o sol e o calor desaparecerem (lá pra outubro) amargaremos 8 longos meses até que a estação mais quente do ano esteja de volta, isso se toda ela não for chuvosa e cinzenta.

Eu recomendaria longas caminhadas, ir à praia, lagos, pedalar até a vila mais próxima ou até mesmo até a cidade mais próxima (dependendo do seu pique e preparo físico, obviamente). A Suécia tem ótimas ciclovias.  Aqui na região de Skåne tem alguns lugares que eu conheço e gosto muito: Västra Hamnen, em Malmö; Dalby Stenbrot, em Dalby; praias em Ystad e Falsterbo e a ilha de Ven, a uma hora de Landskrona.

Pra quem gosta, acampar é uma boa opção de programa, já que na Suécia existe o que eles chamam de "Allemansrätt", que é basicamente o direito de comum acesso a áreas naturais com a responsabilidade de não danificá-las. 

Outra coisa boa que o verão traz para a Europa são os grandes festivais de rock.  Só para citar os que eu sei: Roskilde (DK), Way Out West (SE), Popaganda (SE) e Optimus ALIVE! (PT) e posso dizer que ainda falta um, mas não consigo me lembrar do nome. De qualquer maneira, isto é assunto pra um post novo.

Meninas!

Acabei de ir ao concerto desse grande músico e gostaria de deixar a dica para vocês...
Jorge Drexler é um músico uruguaio, bem-humorado, e que escreve letras e músicas maravilhosas. Escutamos algo sobre ele antes de vir para a Argentina mas desde que chegamos aqui e adquirimos quatro cds (rs!) temos escutado bastante e acabamos conhecendo um pouco mais do seu trabalho (maravilhoso!).
O show só serviu para confirmar que o cara é bom m-e-s-m-o... E como coisa boa há que se dividir estou aqui passando aqui passando pra frente. Confiram os vídeos.

I´ve just arrived from a concert of this great musician and I decided to come here and leave this tip...
Jorge Drexler is a musician from Uruguay with a very good sense of humour and who writes beautiful lyrics and melodies. We had heard something about him before we come to Argentina but since we arrived here and bought 4 of his Cds we started to listen his music more often and we ended up knowing some more about his work (fascinating!).
The concert we have just been just confirmed that this guy is r-e-a-l-l-y good! So, since the good things in life should be shared I´m letting you here with some of his videos.

Swedish Lecture

Hello :)

Today I was opening my bookmarks and I found a link to Pippi Långstrump's site. The time I spent in Sweden I had the interest to read these Astrid Lindgrens' books. I found out that this character, Pippi, is very funny and can keep your attention till you finish the book (well, at least my attention :] ).
This character is so famous in Sweden among adults and still children I observed this when I told my älskling's mom that I was reading Pippi's books, she got very surprised and we start to laugh together remembering those funny stories.
So I will leave here a link, so everybody can watch and also show for your children :)

"Acabo de ser pai e estou aterrorizado!
porque ser pai novato é como viver dentro de um filme de terror:um montao de bonecos inquietantes por toda a casa,escutas ruidos estranhos e nao podes dormir tranquilo pq sabes que a qualquer momento te vao dar um susto.
e vc nao sente medo somente em casa,nao!no carro tambem vai numa tensao que nao veja!vc fica a todo momento olhando pra tras,pra ver se o bb ainda está ali.Mas como nao vai estar?se está mais amarrado que Hannibal Lecter!!!

Ser pai novato é como estar em "Psicose":necessitas a tua mae mais que Norman Bates e as piores cenas sao as da banheira.Porque,claro,vc ve tua mulher banhando o bb tao calma,como se estivesse lavando louça...,ate o dia em que ela diz:
_benhe,vem que hj vc dá o banho nele!
_eu!?mas ele sabe nadar?
_Vem,papaizao,que vc vai adorar a experiencia...
E vc olha o bb e pensa,"-mas ele nem ta sujo!".Assim que mete ele na agua e tira,como se molhasse um donut.
_Já.
E ela:
_e o shampoo?
_Shampoo?!mas se ele é careca?!
E ela volta a insistir:
_Anda,dá o banho nele!mas com mais cuidado,filho!
"Como se fosse facil,o moleque se move mais rapido do que Jackie Chan",
e ela:
_E cuidado com a cabecinha,que ainda nao está fechada!
_Porra,e por que vc nao fechou antes de me dar ele pra mim?
Eu creio que os bbs deveriam nascer com uma asa nas costas,como as chicaras.Assim pra banhar era só segurar tranquilamente por ali e botar eles embaixo da torneira.
Pensando bem,ser pai novato é pior que "Psicosis",porque Norman Bates,tinha uma mae,mas vc tem duas:tua mae e tua sogra.
Uma diz:
_Deixa os pézinhos ao ar livre,é bom!
E a outra:
_o resfriados se pega pelos pés!
E claro,que ninguem se entende...
Um dia,o bb chorando,vou buscar-lo e minha mulher me diz:
_nao pega ele!minha mae disse que se acostuma!
E vc:
_Mas a minha disse que,se chora muito,arrebenta a hernia...
_Tua mae é que arrebentou a hernia criando vc,que é mais mimado do que nao sei o que!

Quando se tem um filho,acontece como nesses filmes de extraterrestres,aonde os marcianos te abducem e te controla a mente.
Porque um encontra um bb pela frente,o bb te olha,vc fica abducido e começa a falar no idioma do bb:
_guchiguchiguchi...
E o bb te entende!
_A-gu,a-gu.
É aterrorizante!Todos ficam abducidos quando falam com um bb:"olha,um auau","brumbrumbrum","cu-cu,tras,tras"...eu acredito que eles nos possuem,pq se vc ve um bb com a barriga descoberta,vc perde o controle:
_prrrrrrrrrrrrzzzzzzz!!!!
Nos temos que reparar como falamos com os bbs!o ring-ring,o rum-rum,o miau-miau...e logo depois botamos a culpa no ensino escolar de que os jovens se expressem tao mal.

Mas o mais aterrorizante de ter um bb,é quando tua mulher te diz:
_Hj pela tarde vc fica com o bb.

AAAiii,isso soa como:"-essa tarde vc tem que operar as cordas vocais de Monserrat Caballé!"
_Benzinho,se é tao facil,só tem que dar a mamadeira e trocar a fralda quando faça coco...

Ah,o da mamadeira eu sei.Eu engato...o guri deixa a boca frouxa,e se entorna todo!!Volto a engatar,e ele fica e olhando com um olhar vitreo...e volta entornar.Eu nao paro,ele nao poderá comigo,ate acabar todo o leite da mamadeira...no babador.Claro,que a minha mulher,lhe digo:
_Olha,toda!!!ele bebeu com uma ansia...que ate acredito que ele poderia tomar outra!mas essa vc lhe dá,ok?

o que me faz sentir mal é o coco.Abrir uma fralda dá um medo que quem acaba se cagando sou eu.Pq ela te diz:se ele chora,troca a fralda e olha se o coco está bom.
"Como se faz isso?saboreia?"
Pois,as vezes,quase,Porque tu lhe está trocando,está cagado ate encima,e de repente começa os soluços...E vc pensa"-o que vem primeiro,o soluço ou o coco?"tu pensa:"-o coco primeiro".
levanta as perninhas,pra tirar a fralda,e nesse momento vem um "Hic" e te escapole uma perna,metendo-a no coco,e te salpica no olho.olha,pra trocar fraldas eu comprei um oculos de soldador!
mas nestas alturas eu ja sou um experto de coco:em todas consistencias e cores!
Marron caca classico:tudo vai bem.
Marron escuro em bolinhas,tipo cabrito:tem que dar suco de laranja.
Verde pistache:esta nascendo um dente.
Amarelo liquido:tem que levar ao pediatra que esta se desidratando...mas a pior é o coco fantasma,que é qdo o bb fede,tu abre a fralda e nao tem nada.Assim que ,quando volta a feder,tu pensas"dessa vez tu nao me engana!"sem tirar a fralda tu mete o dedo e...te enganou!!
Mas alem de tudo isso o bb tem uma arma secreta:o choro.
e tem em uma infinidades de tipos.tem aquele que "te dou tempo de chegar antes que me esguele",que é assim:
_ehe,ehe,ehe,ehe,egggghhhhhhhhhh...
aquele "alarme de carro"
_gu-eé,gu-eé.gu-eé...
E depois tem aquele "vou acabar com teus nervos"
_guuu-éééééc,guuuu-éééé´,guuuu-ééeéé

E todo mundo pensam saber porque choram:"é pq tem fome","é pq tem sono",..."nao,nao,isso é pq tem gases e nao sabe botar pra fora",
que nao sabe botar pra fora????me da vontade de agarrar-lo e fazer na barriga "przzzz" e desincharlo como um balao de gás.mas nao faço.O que faço é pegar ele no colo,olhar na carinha dele e dize muito claro:
_guchi,guchi,guchi...que que vc tem?przzz,prrrzzzz...

É pq os bebes é o melhor que existe no mundo."

Mini orkontro em Malmö!

No último sábado dia 17/05 tivemos um Mini Orkontro aqui em Malmö. Eu, Lidi, Aline e Rhay nos encontramos no Burger King aqui no centro pra fofocar e falar um pouco de portugues hehe, merecemos neh. Eu como sempre carreguei meu sueco comigo pra que ele pudesse escutar um pouquinho de portugues e passar pelo que eu passo todos os dias quando eles desatam a falar sueco e me esquecem num canto hehe :p. Eu cheguei atrasada e confesso que foi porque dormi mais que a cama hehe. Aline estava com a fofa da Johanna, a pequenininha não pááááááára meninas (acreditem na Aline quando ela fala que precisa de umas férias hehe), Johanna é movida a bateria e ainda carrega um gerador de reforco hehehehe, é uma graaaaca e mt linda! Mesmo dando trabalho pra mamae vale cada segundo com a filhota ne Line? Rhay estava com Bella quando eu cheguei. Coisa mais linda :) quietinha comendo a batata frita hehe um amor! Depois de um tempo Rhay fala que vai trocar de plantão hehe, desceu e subiu com Carol. Primeira vez que vejo a nova integrante da familia da Rhay. Tao pequenininha dormindo que nem um anjinho no colo da mamae :). Meninas parabens pelas filhotas lindaaas!!! Eu e Lidi tinhamos hora entao nao ficamos muito. Fomos embora por volta das duas da tarde. Mas valeu o encontro meninas! Adorei o tempo que passamos juntas.

Last saturday, May, 17th we had a mini orkontro here in Malmö. Lidi, Aline, Rhay and I met up at Burger King here downtown to talk a little and speak a bit of portuguese cause we deserve hehe. As usual I took my lovely swede with me so he can hear a bit of portuguese and feel the same way i do when they decide to speak in swedish and just forget that i am around :p. I got there late and I confess that the reason was that i slept more than my bed :p. Aline was with her little Johanna, she doesnt stop for one single second hehe (believe on Aline when she says she needs vacation). Johanna is moved by batteries and a step power generator just in case :p. She is so lovely and so cute. Even keeping her mom busy (and as Lidi said, teaching us how to make your mom a fool hehe)every second is worth with your daughter righ Line? Rhay was with Bella when i got there. The cutest girl :) so quiet eating her french fries, so sweet :). After a while Rhay said she needed to switch shifts she went downstairs and got back up with Carol. It was the first time I met the new member of Rhay's family. She is so small sleeping like an angel on her mom's lap. Girls, congratulations for the wonderfull daughters. Lidi and I had to go so we didnt stay that long, we went away around 2pm. But i loved the meeting :) and loved the time we spent together!!

Last weekend Carla and I crossed the bridge and went to Copenhagen to watch their carnival. We had such a great time, even though it toke us some minutes to first find the right way and then walk there, but it was worth it. There were many tents in the park (Fælledparken), some with music, some selling clothes or food.
We watched people dancing latin music, capoeira, african dance and the bands Sambanas and Bafo do Mundo. And of course, we danced a lot.


No último fim-de-semana Carla e eu atravessamos a ponte e fomos à Copenhague para assistir o carnaval dinamarquês. Apesar de termos levado alguns muitos minutos para descobrir em que direção andar e outros para chegar até lá, nos divertimos bastante. Tinha várias tendas no Fælledsparken, onde a festa acontecia. Algumas com música, outras que vendiam roupas e outras, comida.
Assistimos pessoas dançando música latina de todos os tipos, capoeira, dança africana e as bandas Sambanas e Bafo do Mundo. E como não poderia deixar de ser, nos acabamos de dançar.

Brazilian Mother's Day!

Today is the second sunday on the month of May. It's my first mother's day! I was woken by my beautiful swedish husband with a delicious breakfast in bed and a bunch of gerberas. They were so marvelous, just as the feeling I got when I first opened my eyes this morning and realized that how magnificent is to be a mother.

My day was beautiful. I have my mom here with me. She came all the way from Brazil just to meet me and our little family. She will stay with us in Buenos Aires for a little while. It was amazing to have her close to me today, to hug her tight and see her sparkling eyes when she looked at me and our baby. We spent the day in a pretty famous market of Buenos Aires, in the area of San Telmo. It's one of the places that I love in this city full of musicians playing in the street and where they sell handcrafts and antiques. We walk around looking and shopping and laughting and just having a lot of fun!

By the way, since today it's the Brazilian Mother's Day, I have a funny story about a messy between the date of Mother's Day in Sweden and Brazil.

It happened exactly 4 years ago and me and Niklas were just beggining our relationship. We were both living in Gothenburg and obviously I was pretty happy to be with my beloved but at the same time I was extremely depressed to be far away from my family and specially my mother. I had checked the calendar two or three days before and after dropping some tears I decided to go out and make a whole big surprise to my mother-in-law (since I didn´t have my mom in Sweden).

I went to the Avenue and bought a beautiful box in tones of blue and patterned with lovely roses. I came home with the box full of little presents like candles, soaps, cards, a recorded cd with brazilian bossa-nova and couple of other little things I tough she would like to get as a Mother's Day present. After that, I went home and when Niklas came from his work I showed him all that and told him about my plans to give that to her as a Mother's Day present.
He was a bit confused with the date, cause he hadn´t seen so much advertisement in the street about that. I was completely sure it was (definately!) Mother's Day on the second sunday of May. So, he believed in all that I said... His friend called and he asked him if he knew about that and if he had prepared something for his mother. His friend was also a bit shocked that he didn´t see any advertisment but well, he also believed in what Niklas said and started to think about what he would do to fix faster a present for his beloved mom.

When it was sunday (the real day) we went out early in the morning and bought couple of flowers. Without calling we took the tram and went straight to Mai-Lis (my mother-in-law) house. We rang the bell and S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E! I had a happy smile on my face, Niklas gave her a tight hug, we showed the flowers and I gave her the box I had prepared as a little gift. I don't need to say that she was really surprised...

- What's all this about, sweet hearts?
- It's Mother's Day, mom!
- Yeah! It's Mother's Day, Mai-Lis!
- Really? Are you sure about that?
- Yeah! Of course I am, at least in Brazil it is...
- Oh! In Brazil?!
- Yeah! What's wrong?! Isn't that here as well?!
- No sweet heart, here in Sweden we celebrate that in the next month...

We sat and laugh for quite a while.

Immediately I remembered about Niklas's friend and "ooops!". What if he had done the same?! I asked Niklas to call him and he ended up saying that he had found out about it on time, so he didn't really do the same thing as us! Bastard! He could have called...
By the way, she loved the presents and the flowers and at the end we all had fun with the whole messy we did. At least she was definately surprised!!!

I wish all the best for all the mothers and mothers-to-be of the Community and to ilustrate a little bit the topic I will post a picture of me and my little angel.


PS. Tomorrow, as the best present of them all, I'm going to the Obstetrician (does it exist, folks?!) and if everything is fine I will listen to my baby's heart!
And I will finally get the paper to make the morfological ecography where I will, apart of having one whole hour looking at him/her on the screen I will also get to know if it's my prince or princess. Any sugestion?!

Introducing myself and a little bit of the story of the community

Hi everybody!

Since this is also my first time blogging here I would like to presentate a little bit of me, my story and the story of our community.

Me & Niklas. - I met this fabulous swedish man in Brazil. In Manaus, middle of Amazon. I was spending holidays and he was traveling around South America. I was 19, he was 24.
After a lot of drinks we ended up in a pretty drunk kiss (I confess that I took the first step) that lasted until the end of the night. Just stoping for some twist dance. What a dancer he was!!!
This was the only time we saw each other before we leave each other, but luckily we had exchanged e-mail and adress and I found it in the other day on my pocket, so we could keep in touch! This was just the beggining of our story that now is almost 4 years and half long.

Between Brazil and Sweden, we right are now living in Argentina. We have a dog called Lilla and a baby on the way... The reason why we are here is pretty funny. We are on 5th of June moving to Göteborg and we just couldn´t leave Lilla in Brazil... Since Brazil is considered a high risk country for rabies she would need quarentene in Sweden when she got there, but after staying five months in Argentina fixing a lot of burocratic procedures she could just skip the clausure time. Yeah! All right... We are crazy!!! And even more crazy for our dog.

Olá pessoal!

Já que essa também é a minha primeira vez postando nesse blog eu gostaria de falar um pouquinho sobre mim, minha história e também a história da nossa comunidade.

Eu & Niklas – Eu encontrei com esse sueco fabuloso no Brasil. Em Manaus, meio da Amazônia. Eu estava curtindo um feriado prolongado e ele viajando pela América Latina. Eu tinha 19 anos, ele 24. Depois de vários drinks acabamos nos beijando (eu confesso que o primeiro passo foi meu), o que durou até o fim da noite, com excessão dos intervalos dancando twist freneticamente. Essa foi a primeira e única vez que nos vimos antes de que cada um seguisse seu caminho. Por sorte, havíamos trocado endereco de e-mail e também de casa e eu consegui encontrá-los no dia seguinte em um dos meus bolsos e daí conseguimos manter contato à distância. Este foi apenas o comeco da nossa história que já dura quase quatro anos e meio.
Entre Brasil e Suécia, estamos agora passando um tempo na Argentina. Nós temos uma cachorrinha chamada Lilla e um bebê à caminho... O porquê de estarmos aqui é um tanto especial. Nós estamos de mudanca para Suécia no dia 05 de junho e simplesmente não conseguimos deixar nossa Lilla no Brasil. Como o Brasil é considerado um país com alto índice de raiva para a Suécia eles exigem que todo animal que vier de tal lugar deve ficar em quarentena. Passar cinco meses na Argentina livra nossa Lilla dos cinco meses de clausura (já que para a Suécia a Argentina está fora de risco). Ok! Nós somos um bocado loucos... Mas mais que isso, somos completamente enlouquecidos pela nossa primogênita. Rs.

A short story of the Community "Eu amo um sueco" - After some friends joined this orkut and spoke about that all the time, I decided to join it as well. On a boring day, I decided to create a community called "Eu amo um sueco (a) !" which means "I love a swedish!". To be honest I never expected that it would become what it has became... I was just bored and decided to make this little homenage for Niklas.

Surprisingly after a little while couple of people (mainly girls) started to join the community and we started a beautiful and truthful friendship. I am so glad to have all of them and I can tell that there is a lot of love and compassion there. We come from different places, we have different accents and opinions and we have our homes in different parts of the world - but nothing that the internet and a lot of respect for each other can´t resolve.

So, now, after this three years of come-and-go our Fafá had the bright idea of making this blog as an extension of the community in Orkut. I think it´s just fun!!! Hope you all do the same...

Um pouquinho da história da Comunidade “Eu amo um (a) sueco (a)! ” – Depois que alguns amigos entraram na onda de Orkut e passavam um bocado de tempo falando nisso resolvi entrar também. Num dia de puro tédio decidi criar a comunidade. Confesso que eu não esperava que fosse se tornar o que hoje se tornou! Eu estava simplesmente entediada e quis fazer uma homenagem para Niklas.

Com o passar do tempo, surpreendentemente, foi entrando gente e mais gente (principalmente meninas). Assim comecamos uma história de amor e carinho, apoiando umas às outras. Nós viemos e estamos em lugares diferentes, temos sutaques e idéias diferentes, mas nada que a Internet e um bocado de respeito umas pelas outras não fizesse as adversidades serem superadas.

Então, agora, depois de três anos de muito vai e vem, nossa querida Fafá teve a brilhante idéia de fazer uma extensão da comunidade. Eis que aqui estamos. Eu estou achando super divertido e espero que vocês também estejam...
